New Kush Hi Foot Pad Review

We’ve moved! Check out our FULL article here. Summary below.

Jeff McCosker, the mind behind the Float Life and the innovative Kush Hi footpad, calls it the “Goldilocks” of footpads – not too firm, not too soft, with just the right tail and concave pocket. Having experienced the original Kush footpads and the Cobra on my Onewheels, here’s a breakdown:

Cobra:
The Cobra offers an aggressive tail, ideal for rear-foot riders, but it appears thicker than it feels. The concave pocket is subtle, not as deep as I’d prefer. It elevates the rear foot due to its thickness.

Kush Original:
An improvement over the stock pad, the Kush original features a great concave pocket but a less aggressive tail than the Cobra. Its 80a durometer urethane provides softness, reducing vibration without sacrificing responsiveness. However, I wished for a bit more aggression.

Kush Hi:
The Kush Hi is like the result of the Kush original and the Cobra spending time together in my car. It combines urethane’s vibration-reducing benefits with added durability. The shape is excellent, with a more aggressive kicktail, yet it blends seamlessly with your Onewheel’s look. The deeper pocket provides enhanced stability during turns, instilling carving confidence, and the tail feels comfortable for longer rides.

In conclusion, the Kush Hi harmoniously combines the best of both worlds, offering an exceptional footpad. If you’re dealing with foot fatigue, this footpad is worth a try, especially if you’re riding with the stock footplate. Treat your feet and check out the Kush Hi.
